Gplus is home appliances products manufactures in India and also B2B business in India, on the back of its home appliance products like LED TVs under brand, Best Washing Machines, Refrigerators etc. has already penetrated the southern market and enjoy a sizeable market share. It is heartening to note that the Covid pandemic disruptions didn’t dampen the demand for brand products. Today, 70 percent of the company’s business comes from its LED TV, washing machine products.
The company is relentlessly working to add more products to its product range. It is myth that a successful company is born overnight. A lot of planning, strategy etc. go into building a company, and Mr R. Venkataramana is the shining example of the same time-tested processes of passion and ambition.
Mr R Venkataramana, a first generation entrepreneur, struggled for capital. The initial capital for the company came from Mr. Venkataramana’s savings and loan.
Mr Venkataraman’s wife and parents pitched in with their savings too. Costs remained high, and the company’s margins remained low in the formative years of Gplus Home Appliance. While Gplus Home Appliance entered the market with really good quality products the branding was a challenge difficult to navigate for new entrants.
In the beginning Gplus Home Appliance found out that dealers were unenthusiastic towards the Gplus Home Appliance products and to convert them into marketing partners was a challenge the company has successfully sailed in the end.
The founder Mr. Revuru Venkataramana
A successful entrepreneur from Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Venkataramana, is an MBA Finance graduate with a business acumen and leadership qualities. Started his career in 2002 by teaching college students and shifted gear towards managing financial products later. Having proved his mettle, he polished his financial talent and leadership qualities in the insurance sector and later did a stint in the marketing part of business by joining a company in Bangalore. Wherever he went, he shined in his roles and grown vertically in the corporate ladder reaching the Regional Manager position by 2011.
In 2017, he had opened the first outlet of Garuda Mart India Pvt. Ltd. With his hard work and commitment towards his goals ensured his company to reach greater heights in its business. His belief in maintaining good relations with suppliers and customers obtained an unique identity for him and Garuda Mart in the society. His innovative ideas coupled with right decisions made Garuda Mart to become a 20-crore turnover organization.
